Our war on the ENEMY.

Fort Hood, Texas (CNN) -- Thirteen people died after a shooting spree Thursday at Fort Hood, a sprawling Army post in Texas.Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, the psychiatrist suspected of Thursday's murderous rampage.

For the love of God, when are people going to wake up and realize that MUSLIMS are the ENEMY! It's beyond me how we could let this terrorist right into our midst. I'm sure it was some liberal screw-up. I hear all kinds of crap about tolerance and all that bullshit. The muslims are a bunch of violent, crazy, murdering terrorist bastards. We need to realize that and start exterminating them!

I see all the latest stuff about Michael Jackson on the net EVERYWHERE.  All these people saying how terrible it is and how great he was , etc. etc. etc.  well I say- WHERE ARE ALL THE PEOPLE THAT ARE CHEERING THAT THE FILTHY, DEGENERATE, FREAK, CHILD-MOLESTER IS DEAD!  It totally disgusts me that people can be so supportive of him when he was in fact such a piece of garbage.  So he can sing - SO WHAT!!!  That (to me) is way overshadowed by his reprehensible behavior towards children.
This is comparable to O.J. when he murdered two people, then goes running from the Police in his famous Bronco chase and so many people are CHEERING FOR HIM TO GET AWAY!  They should have been out in force blocking the highway to get him caught and sent to the CHAIR!

Some (most) days I wonder about the human race.

Picking on smokers?

This from CNN; http://www.cnn.com/2009/US/04/01/cigarette.tax/index.html
Larry Jukes said he remembers when he could buy 10 cigarette packs for $2.50.
But he'd now take the days when -- just last month -- he could buy his carton of choice for $49.

Thanks in part to the largest-ever federal cigarette tax increase -- a nearly 62-cents-a-pack hike that starts Wednesday but was reflected in many prices earlier -- Jukes on Tuesday paid more than $58 for a 10-pack carton at the Cigarette Store in Denver, Colorado.

That same store was selling it about $9 cheaper weeks ago. Jukes and other shoppers there said they feel stuck and taken advantage of.

"They're picking on us poor people, the ones that smoke," Jukes, a 65-year-old who has been smoking since he was a teen, said of the government. "They have been for years."

Sorry pal, but thats what you get for attempting to kill us with you're second hand smoke! I wish smokers would either shut the hell up or just go somewhere and die! I do believe that everyone has the right to end their own life (as smoking does) but they don't have the right to end MINE! They don't have the right to cause my insurance to be raised to pay for all their diseases. They also don't have the right to aggravate my sinus problems.  In short- if you don't like the price-QUIT SMOKING!

"Queen Nancy"

Just thought I'd share this little tidbit I got from a good friend;

Queen Nancy -- Pelosi

Remember the big flap about Sarah Palin's dress?

Americans!  Where are you?  Are you awake?

We haven't heard any comment on "Queen Madam" Pelosi's snit about having to ride home in the small private, economy jet that comes with the Speaker's job.  Remember how Madame Peelo was so aggravated that this little jet had to refuel while transporting her to California every week? Remember that she insisted on a luxurious 200 seat jet to fly her to California nonstop, instead?
Hello Folks!  Are you awake? Can you muster even a little indignation?

Washington legislators who observed the Madam's Big Fat jet grinned with glee as Joe informed everyone that Nancy's luxury Jet will require hard working American tax payers, to buy thousands of gallons of expensive jet fuel every week. She only works 3 days a week but her gas guzzler luxury jet flights home, to California , costs  taxpayers $60,000 one way! As Joe noted, 'Unfortunately we have to pay to bring her back on Monday night,' so there goes another $60,000.

Folks, that is $480,000 per month or an annual cost to taxpayers of $5,760,000.  And she complains about the cost of the war?  She could  take the smaller jet which she says would cramp her style -- but since her flying in style takes precedence over war costs -- what the hell, eh?

Military families in this country do without while this woman, who heads up the most do-nothing Congress in the history of our country, spends lavishly to fly herself and associates to and from California every week.  That burns me!!  How about you?

Madame Peelo expects you and I to conserve our carbon footprint by driving smaller cars and buying a bicycle pump to over-inflate our tires for better economy while she and her hypocrite cohorts waste tax payer dollars. Ticks me off mightily! How about you?

Keep this circulating maybe someone will have enough gumption to do something about it.

Dissagreements.

No sooner did I make my blog than my better half started bitching about it.  Go figure.  So for a while I just forgot about it.  I've decided today to start out a bit slower (and nicer) than I first planned to.
So here's todays topic; "A cobbler should stick to his last."  For those younger folks, it means basically to stick with doing what you are good at or trained for.  In the case of todays blog, it's about the previous owner of my 110 year old farmhouse.  It passed the electrical inspection when we bought the house so I thought it was good to go.  The first problem came after we had been here about a year and a half.  Long story short- there was a 220 dryer, 220 stove, refrigerator and microwave all on one circuit with a 60 amp breaker.  That almost burned the house down!  I spent the next weekend re-wiring a separate 30 amp circuit for the dryer, new 20 amp, 110 volt for the fridge and another for the microwave.
Monday night I decided to run a new receptacle for my CPAP machine next to the bed.  Another long story short- the furnace was run from the new breaker box in the addition family room to the original breaker box (I think it was Thomas Edison's first one), then to the jumper box in the basement and then FINALLY to the furnace.  After several hours of trying to figure that all out, I simply ran the power from the new box to the furnace.
Today I took off work to re-do some more of the old cloth wiring I found during my last experience.  Okay, breaks over, back to the basement.  So for all of you- if you don't know or understand electricity- PLEASE DON'T MESS WITH IT!

1-6-09

Just decided to start this blog in response to all the other people out there with their own blogs (that I disagree with!).  Gimme some time and we'll see where this gets to.  But for right now-Suppers ready!
